Inspired: Calicott

Christopher Calicott has an unusual design for his blog.  The site is run off Wordpress and was built by Elliot Jay Stocks, but is unique in every way.  I have never seen a Blog quite like this one, from the average sized posts as the top of the page to the skinnier ones below, it is of an interesting design.

The unusual design appears to not use categories, but only tags as the organisational methods, with each and all other information hidden away at the bottom of the website. Inspiring?  I think so.  Unique?  Definitely.  What do you think?
